Nagpur, July 11: It was a good occasion for the National Chaplain to visit the units at Nagpur during the Youth Commission Meeting at Pallotti Animation Centre.
First Fr. Charles visited St. Charles Seminary and thanked the Rector for sending the brothers to the schools where they deal with YCS movement. He offered to take a days session to all the brothers in the coming months to train them in YCS Movement. As it is one of the recommendation of the Catholic Bishop's Meeting at Guahati that is to reach out to all the seminaries and train the brothers before getting out of the seminary. Once they are ordained they would rightly jump into the youth ministry.
Then he visited SFS High School and met the Pricipal who is very much interested in having YCS in her school. Fr. Philip Topno the RYD of Maharastra and spoke to the members of YCS.
Then he visited Providence High School and met the Pricipal and Animator Sr. Shaiji. They could not meet the students but promissed to meet them soon.
There may be a NTA/EXCO meeting in Nagpur in Nov-Dec. and the local members are eagerly waiting to host it in Nov.
Fr. Charles also visited The NTA/EXCo Melwyn Titus and Alice Antony's families. He also visited Sharon Raymond and Damini Prakash's houses.
We are hoping for the revival of the movement in the days to come.
