I am Jyoti studying in class IX, St. Paul’s High School, Ajrawar of Simla Chandigarh Diocese.

I would like to share my experience in YCS/YSM. The aim of the movement is – “TO BUILD A BETTER SOCIETY.” Has motivated me to commit myself for a good cause and to self discipline myself. There is a lot of corruption and malice in the present world, for eg: - Dowry system, bride burning, exploitation of girl child, child labour, etc. All these evils are increasing day by day in our society. Dear friends, students of YCS, you and I can change the situation and build a better society. The Methodology of the movement SEE – JUDGE – ACT is another important aspect that can help all of us in our challenge to build a better society. We the students of YCS should be the persons who value peace, love, truth, justice, equality, harmony and dignity.

YCS/YSM has helped me a lot in my personal growth for eg: - Self confidence, leadership, self discipline, a new interest in life. I have become more social and friendly with my peer group. YCS/YSM has taught me to see, to judge and to act before doing any work. In this way I feel a meaning in living. Now I can face people easily and I have got over my stage fear too. I do take part in the competitions without fear. I have learnt to help people in their need and also how to deal and understand them better.

So I would support that this movement should be spread to every corner of the world so that others also may join in this movement.
