Nov 14, 2017: YCS/YSM is an international student movement spread all around the world. The diocese of Shimoga has its vibrant units spread in its three districts viz Davangere, Chitradurga and Shimoga. Having the aim ‘To Build a New Society or Building the Kingdom of God’, it has its objective ‘Self Change and Change others, it follows methodology ‘Awareness-Reflection–Action and Evaluation’. This movement has touched thousands of student’s lives and works miracles through its Review of Life Cell based activities

The Little Flower of Jesus, Shikaripura has a boarding for boys of High School and this boarding caters to the needs of the students of different religious faiths and of all walks of life. YSM is a movement which embraces everyone in its fold.
There was an orientation program for the YCS/YSM beginners in Shikaripura on 05.11.2017. There were 38 students present for the training program. New Cells were formed and history and basics of the YCS/YSM Movement are taught to the students. How to conduct Cell meetings? was taught through a practical session. Thanks to the efforts of Fr.
