A two day training program to YCS Central Council of Udupi Diocese was held on 5th & 6th July 2016 at Kunthalnagar. Fr. Denis D’Sa, parish priest of Kunthalnagar explained the allure of nature around the church. National Director Fr. Chethan Machado, mentioned the benefits that students gain through YCS and shared his experience being a YCS director. This was followed by Sacramental Adoration.
Mr. Norbert Misquith conducted a session on Various Ice- Breaking activities. Later the council members shared their experiences & feelings.
Post dinner the training program of the first day was concluded & Fr. Edwin D’Souza appealed the council members to prepare a talk on the given topics.
The next day of the training began with mass which was offered by Fr. Edwin D’Souza. Later some games where conducted then the council members were asked to give a presentation on the given topic. After the presentation Fr. Edwin D’Souza, Mr. Norbert Misquith & animators Mrs. Leena Mendonca & Mr. Joel Sequeira gave some tips to make the talk effective and rules to be followed. Everyone shared their experience & the training was concluded with prayer.
