A cobbler was living in a hut. He earned enough money every day to meet his expenses. In his happiness he would sing daily and he slept well.

There was a rich banker. He was always worried about the money. He was not able to sleep well. One day the rich banker came to the cobbler and presented him hundred pounds. The cobbler was at first overjoyed. But slowly he began to lose his happiness and cheerfulness. He always thought that someone might take away the money. So he could not sleep well. He stopped his singing. He felt that he could not bear it any longer. He returned the money to the banker and said, “Take back your hundred pounds and give me my happiness”.
