Laithumkrah, 15th March 2018:-, the YCS/YSM Coordinating of Shillong Unit, consisting Bro Cheriatt Jose, Julian Predeep and Lukas N, organized the biannual Animators meet. The 28 animators who were present represented the 21 schools of the YCS/YSM presence in Archdiocese of Shillong. The meeting began at 3:15 with a short prayer asking the Holy Spirit to guide the YCS/YSM movement.

The pieces of agenda were,

Since the Retreat and the commitment were the priority agenda of the meeting the Coordinating team spent the majority of the time for planning  in detail both Retreat and commitment day. The Retreat that is to be held, from 28th to 31 March, will have hundred and sixty participants. Since the students will have classes on 28th March we have planned to request the principals to give half day class for the participants of the Retreat. After much discussion we have decided to have the Commitment day on a Thursday as it facilitates  both the students and animators on 12 April. Bro Julian Presented the Yearly account of the YCS/YSM Shillong Unit ,which was already presented during the Principals' meet in the presence of the Archbishop on 10th March. Later all the other pieces of agenda were presented. The meeting came to an end with tea and the grace over the meal was said by Sr. Bibina Noghbak the vice principal of the St. Margaret School.
