“What so ever you do to the least of my people, that you do unto me”
My College is building new post-graduate center. The Construction workers and their children live there. There are around 7 small Children. Our prayer group in college just thought that we should visit them and interact with them.
When we approached them, believe me, they never looked at us like strangers. Not even a kid refused to speak to us. We had a cordial welcome, a sweet smile on their faces, friendly chats and a healthy relationship. These children go to a Telugu medium school here in Bangalore. They have interest to learn English also. Our group thinks that we should reach out to them to teach English.
Friends, you and I may be a drop in the ocean, but without that drop the ocean is incomplete. Do not think “What can I do?” but say I can do this… Be it small or big, but your deed is valuable. Your YCS tells can take up such small activities. We may not be in a position to spend a lot of time but may be a visit or two will surely cheer-up the little ones. A small prayer for the others in need is a great help. You will be blessed when you pray for people in need.
Dear friends, all of us may not be the same. We are unique and god has made us to translate his plan into action.
Let us pray that we realize our role in this world and the purpose of our living.
In this short journey called life, let us leave a mark in the world!!
