It is rightly said that motherhood is a pride of every woman. It is a mother who teaches every child the step of the journey called life. A mother is one who always aspires and wishes to see her children come out in flying colours. On the contrary there are women who deny themselves from being a mother. They do not want to enjoy the honour being conferred upon them.
We only speak of ‘Empowerment and Emancipation of women’ but why don’t we honour the rights and the duties of a mother? How many of us are really grateful to our mothers for the work they do in the kitchen, in the house, at the work place, etc., Only working women who contribute to the livelihood are considered contributing to the growth of the society. What about mothers who really contribute in the growth of the family and the house?
On May 8th this year, the world celebrated ‘Mothers day’. There are children who give gifts to their mothers but the very next day, do not obey them. Instead give your mother a smile a warm hug and tell her “Thank you ma for all that you have done. Take vow that you will walk in the divine path respecting her and doing what wants you to do.
A mother is the first person who cannot bear to see her little one’s in tears. The world might forget you but two people will never! They are the loving God and the beautiful mother.
