Bring “Child Rights” into our Institutions

This Children’s Day, what events did our schools organize?
Excitement, fun, games? How lucky! Yet numerous children are deprived of their birthrights. Why is this happening, and are we aware of it.

If we can have a bright future why can’t other children have it? Children’s rights are the building blocks for serving human rights for future generations. Yet countless children are still being killed and made to work very hard.

In our own neighbourhood, we will find children deprived of their basic needs. However, they know not where to go or whom to turn to.

Can we be one with the others of our age who need comfort? In small ways can we fight for their birthrights – food, clothing, shelter, education etc? Therefore isn’t it time for our friends and together we can make a difference and fight for a child's rights?
