After independence the first prime minister of India was Jawaharlal Nehru. His birthday is celebrated as “Children’s Day” because he loved children as he loved himself. He said that the birthday of Nehru on November 14th will be celebrated as children’s day.  Nehru plays with children and children call him “Nehru Uncle”.

On this day the school conducts competitions like quiz, singing, dance, spin a yond, jam, super speller, hand writing, painting, drawing art and craft to make the children feel that they should do something for their country. This day will be a golden day for children. The dream of the Nehru is that “The children must become authors and poets of this country.  Let’s hope that his dream will become a reality. All children try to become a good citizen and gentle man of this country”.

-The Jawaharlal Nehru Founder,
 Karthick V.
